Te Whangai nurtures the people and they create the business. To continue, we need you to buy trees to provide a future for our people and New Zealand.
We need volunteers with skills in counselling, skills in getting people off drugs and alcohol, and mental health professionals. We need retired people with life and work skills who can share their expertise with At Risk youth and others on a mentoring basis. If you have these skills and want to help, contact us.
We need people to advocate for this vision with their elected officials and government agencies, at local and national levels of government.
Contact our office for more information or materials, or just start spreading the word!
In the future, we also will need compassionate people who would like to set up a Te Whangai nursery on their own property - once the Te Whangai model has been proven and documented. The Unversity of Waikato will be testing the business model and if the tests are positive, helping to establish robust management systems for duplicating the model throughout New Zealand.
“It is not the strongest who survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change.” Charles Darwin
